Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) Detergent Grade is surface treated by a unique manufacturing process that provides high viscosity, rapid dispersion and delayed dissolution. Detergent grade HPMC dissolves quickly in cold water and adds excellent thickening. Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) provides viscosity in all types of surfactant systems. The surface of the powder is treated with a unique process that allows it to dissolve quickly in water without clumping, flocculation or settling during dissolution.

HPMC Detergent Grade is rapidly dispersed in a solution of cold water mixed with organic matter. After a few minutes, it will reach maximum consistency and form a transparent viscous solution. The aqueous solution is surface-active, highly transparent, stable, and dissolves in water independent of pH. Detergent grade HPMC dissolves quickly in cold water and adds excellent thickening effect. Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose HPMC is used as a thickener and dispersant in detergents, hand sanitizers, alcohol gels, shampoos, washing liquids, cleaning chemicals.

Detergent grade Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose is used in laundry detergents, mainly as stabilizing thickener, emulsifying stabilizer, dispersing thickener, which can significantly improve the viscosity of the product and the ability to penetrate stains.
